The 1st generation folding storage box
Although the epidemic has hindered long-distance travel, the leisure needs of residents have always been increasing. With the popularity of self driving tours, camping which can not only soothe the body and mind, but also get close to nature and meet the social needs of urban populations, has become an increasing choice for tourists. The camping economy is also gradually emerging. The camping equipment market is on the rise, with a high demand for products such as tents, folding tables and chairs, portable tableware, and storage boxes. However, the products are generally homogeneous, and people need to bring large and small bags every time they go camping, causing inconvenience to travel.
In June 2022, the Coolnice design team discovered this drawback and proposed the concept of "light outdoor, easy storage". It was the first time to combine a storage box and a folding table, and the 1st generation of folding storage boxe with a table board come out. The foldable design saves space for daily storage, is lightweight to carry, and can be used for home storage, car storage, and outdoor camping. When camping outdoors, it can not only store snacks, soda, etc., but also serve as a table, bidding farewell to heavy carrying and making it easy to travel.
The 2nd generation folding storage box
As the feeback from customer and the widely used in car storage,Coolnice design team also keep updating the folding storage box to meet more consumer needs.
In October 2022,the 2nd generation folding storage box come out.
On the basis of maintaining the original storage box and folding table in one, upgrade the table legs to three legs, and use the triangle principle to make the table more stable. Adding a plastic table board to the storage box has expanded the usable area of the table.
In addition to optimizing the demand for outdoor camping, the design team also designed a red warning logo at the bottom of the box, combining car storage and road emergency signs, which can be used as a warning reminder in case of emergency on the road.
The 3rd generation large folding storage box
With the hot sales of the 2nd generation folding storage box,there are new demand of the larger size from our customers,we start to design a new folding storage box with large capacity.
Coolnice designers team make some market researches about the folding storage box and found some problem of existing products on market:
1. Many storage box is folded separately, involving installation and disassembly, which is quite troublesome.
2. Lots of storage boxes do not have a table function, and some boxes with a table also have problems with a small table area, storage difficulties, and unstable desktop after unfolding.
3. The top cover of the storage box is thin and bears less weight.
In order to solve these problem and creat some new function,we design the 3rd generation large folding storage box in July 2023.There are 3 version:simple version,standard version and luxury version to meet different requirment.
